Art Annex CT Presents “ABSTRACTIONS” by Britt Bair, Donna Collins and Ronnie Gold in South Norwalk from July 1 through July 17, 2022 – Preview Night June 30

A new exhibition, “ABSTRACTIONS” will be on view July 1 through July 17, 2022 at 132A Washington Street in South Norwalk. Presented by Art Annex CT, the gallery will feature abstract artwork by three local artists: Britt Bair of Rowayton, Donna Collins of Darien and Ronnie Gold of Stamford. There will be a Preview Night on Thursday, June 30 from 5 to 7 pm. After that, gallery hours are Tuesday through Sunday from 3 pm to 7 pm or by appointment. Britt Bair is an abstract expressionist artist who works in acrylic, mixed media and oil, mixing vibrant colors to create her own visual language. Her career began as a Graphic Designer and Photography Rep in New York City. 

Donna Collins, a painter and trained landscape architect, creates paintings celebrating nature and landscape. She works in oil referencing the colors, shapes and rhythms of the natural world, using both observation and imagination. 

Ronnie Gold paints in pastel and acrylic. Her work is primarily non-objective and abstract, although nature is often a point of departure as well as inspiration for her work. After a career as a textile designer and co-owner of a decorative fabric company, she is now devoting herself to her art. 

Art Annex CT has been awarded a temporary pop-up gallery space in South Norwalk from this year’s OnWashington Entrepreneur Contest. The space is owned by AGW SONO Partners, whose real estate collective consists of 27 addresses on Washington Street Historic District. As the marketing arm for AGW’s South Norwalk portfolio, OnWashington is thrilled to award the pop-up space to Art Annex CT and lend support to their mission and to local artists.
