A new exhibition, “In the Moment,” will be on view September 16 through September 30 at 1027 Post Road in Darien. Presented by Art Annex CT, the gallery will feature Ben Larrabee’s fine art and portrait photography.  Larrabee’s goal as a photographer is to be authentic and honest, not merely different. This approach is based on letting go of his expectations and assumptions – to use the photographic experience as a way of finding truth and connection.  He earned a B.F.A. in Photography at the Rhode Island School of Design and a Masters degree of Fine Arts in graphic design from Yale University.  Larrabee says, “I am pleased to bring a collection of my work into this gallery space right in downtown Darien, my home since 1988. Things are incredibly vibrant there now and adding artwork makes it even more so.” Learn more about the artist at benlarrabee.com.  There will be a “Meet the Artist” opening on Thursday, September 16 from 5 to 7 pm. After that, gallery hours are Tuesday through Sun
