Before and After – Britt Bair's "Expressions in Color" Solo Show

Here is Britt Bair standing in the doorway of the front door plus before and after photos of her solo show, "Expressions in Color" at 1027 Post Road in Darien (right next to Grieb's Pharmacy). Load in day was extra fun for Andrea Letters as Art Annex CT rented a truck to transport large paintings from Britt Bair's house in Rowayton to 1027 Post Road in Darien for her solo show.     Excited to share the news that Art Annex will be presenting a new exhibition, “Britt Bair Art: Expressions in Color,” on view June 10 through July 6 at 1027 Post Road in Darien. Presented by Art Annex CT, this is the first solo show of abstract art in Connecticut for Rowayton artist Britt Bair. Britt Bair is an abstract expressionist artist who works in acrylic, mixed media and oil, mixing vibrant colors to create her own visual language.  Her work has been selected for exhibitions at galleries, museums and other local venues. She is a member of the Silvermine Artist Guild, Rowayton Arts Center and the Carriage Barn Arts Center in New Canaan. Her work may be found in private collections from California to New York.  She is represented by Gallery 104 in NYC, Geary Gallery in Darien, CT, Avondale Arts in Watch Hill, RI, Louisa Gould Gallery in Martha’s Vineyard, MA and Hazel House in Vero Beach, FL. Paintings by Rowayton artist Georgette DiScala Diamandis are now on view at Ski and Sport in NewCanaan. Georgette's passion is painting animals as well as landscapes.
